We snagged a condo in downtown Tampa on the bay. Here's a picture of it (the tall building in the center).It's a great place, just across the channel from the downtown area, the arena, and a large restaurant and entertainment venue. We've already been to a few concerts and I'm planning to see a few hockey games when the season starts.
One neat feature is that the cruise ship terminal is right on that channel, so the ships park just a few hundred feet away from my front window. It's really amazing to see those huge ships gliding by in the afternoon when they leave port and head out into the Gulf of Mexico.
